PROLOUGE
"Your a mouse brain you know that!" Spat Mousenose.
"I-im sorry Mousenose! I-I didn't mean to!" Silverpaw meowed, insisting even though he did nothing. He lied to save his leaders tail.
"I should kill you! Your luck I live under the code you worthless apprentice!" She kept yowling in front of all the Burrowclan cats as they watched with amusement or sadness or just plain faces. Springstar looked at him with a straight face, but any cat could see the horror and sorrow that filled her eyes, even with her rough outer exterior.
"Springstar please! You know I would have never laid a claw on Cherrytree!" Silverpaw pleaded to his leader.
"Who else would have done it! You were standing over her body with her blood on your paws and her fur between your claws!" Mousenose yowled and the other cats murmured in agreement.
"I...I-I...Springstar!" Silverpaw yowled again.
The gray leader stood and gave him a long look that could not even express how sorry she was before meowing the words he dreaded. "Silverpaw, you have done selfish act, and broken the code beyond any other cat...your banished from Burrowclan."
"No!" He yowled and his mother ran forward to protect him.
"Springstar please! For all we know he could be covering for another cat!" She yowled.
"No BriskFrost, he is banished like Springstar said!" Mousenose yowled and Craterpaw and his mentor Twitchingtail stepped forward to pull her back.
The light silver apprentice looked at all the cats, the only giving his anything but glares were his leader, his mother and the two cats holding her back.
"F-fine....but I will be back, and I will prove I did not kill Cherrytree!" Silverpaw yowled and ran out of Burrowclan camp as yowls rose up from behind him. He darted for the boarder, and crossed the river into Melodyclan territory, then Rushclan territory knowing now, he was a loner.

CHAPTER 1 New start
Silverpaw lied in the Rushclan forest, where both Melodyclan and Rushclan could meet in peace, giving them an advantage over the other clans. The wet stone under him made him shiver and the waterfall roared. He sat up, his skinny under fed frame just supporting him for he had become to weak to hunt and refused to still being a cat of the code and hunting in another territory was against it. He sighed and watched the falls roar down on the water below, causing a white foam like a sick fox.
His blue eyes looked into the foam with no emotion and then fear struck him as a yowl rose up and to Rushclan cats attacked him, both apprentices. He tried to fight but quickly gave in.
"HAHA! We got him Emberpaw! The loner all the warriors have been senting on the patrols! Rushstar will make us warriors in no time if we keep this up!" Meowed a white apprentice with light silver markings and blue eyes.
"Littlepaw, get off him, he looks weaker then a kit that has been lost in the woods with no mother." A young she-cat stepped out tabby markings, light tan orange pelt and a near white mane.
"OK OK.."- he meowed letting Silverpaw up. He quickly got to his paws and spun to face his attackers, letting out a weak hiss as the white apprentice called Littlepaw begun to laugh.
"You really think you can take us on!" He mocked as Emberpaw batted his ears with her paws.
"Knock it off Littlepaw." She hissed before slowly padding over and giving him a couple sniffs. "Well you clearly didn't start out a loner from the way you look, no loner is this skinny!" She remarked and then meowed on, "Whats your name?"
Silverpaw looked at the apprentice named Emberpaw and blushed slightly never being so close to a she-cat before of then his mother. All the cats in Burrowclan didn't like him other then Craterpaw and his mentor who had come to like him through training. He could not tell these apprenticed his real name, and then glanced into the water and meowed a name that popped into his head. "I'm...Graypaw." He muttered taking a step back.
"Well its nice to meet you Graypaw." The she-cat greeted with a giggle at the way he reacted to her getting so close. "I'm Emberpaw and that," she flicked her tail over to the white apprentice. "Is Littlepaw." She puured.
"Yea yea, Emberpaw, we need to get back to the clan soon or they will come looking, its getting dark." Littlepaw meowed.
"Ok Littlepaw." Emberpaw meowed over her should before turning back to him and pausing for a moment before meowing. "You can stay with us till we can find your clan again!" With that she trotted off to the white apprentice and gave his cheek and lick and bounded over the hills while Littlepaw followed.
Silverpaw, now Graypaw to them bounded over the hills after them, having the energy to get to a camp and eat some prey if it was OK. With in a couple seconds on the horizon he could see an out lining of briars and stone, 'this must be Rushclan camp,' he thought.
As they came closer he could see the small camp of briars and rock was full of life as a meeting came to an end and a new warrior stepped forward to sit under Silverpelt.
Seeing him the warrior stood and gave a growl, not knowing him and not being able to speak.
"Calm your flees Fireroot! This is Graypaw, he will be staying the night until I can talk to Rushstar." Meowed Emberpaw and Littlepaw had already taken a vole and settled in what had to be the apprentices den.
The ginger warrior gave one last narrow look at him before nodding and taking his seat.
"Don't worry what looks or what the rest of the clan says Graypaw, I can tell you can be trusted." She meowed showing him what had to be the median cats den, for the strong sent of herbs hung in the air.
"How do YOU know!" He meowed, "For all you know I could be a lean mean killing machine!" he meowed getting into a fighting crouch and stumbling as he pretended to pounce on an enemy.
Emberpaw watched him and giggled at his fail attempted before nodding her head for him to follow into a moss covered area of the den and called a cats name "Falconeyes!"
When they entered through the hanging moss there were two or three cats resting in bedding either sleeping or giving moans of pain. He blue eyes widened and he looked around, surly Rushclan was not as weak as they looked, for they had always brought an abundant amount of warriors, apprentices and a few elders that still looked like they had a few good years left of being warriors.
"Emberpaw I'm busy, it better be important." A light tan, white and orange tan tom cat meowed as he was bent over a blue furred apprentice.
"Well its not as important as this, what in the name of Starclan happen!" She exclaimed looking at the wounded group.
"That fox was back to work and on a group of apprentices that had wondered after Blackkit." He meowed finishing up, looking up to see him and his green eyes just rested on him, as if looking into his soul.
Emberpaw had run to get a black and white apprentice some poppy seed
so he was left to fend off the median cats eyes.
"Y-yes." Graypaw meowed as the staring went on. When a cat yowled out in pain and Emberpaw just watched as he spazed not sure what to do he had shaken off the toms stair and padded over, examining the apprentice and then saw his leg had fully become infected saw a new scar formed along it.
When he turned to grab some burdock root from the clear pile of herbs Flaoneyes had rested his gaze on him again. He froze and just looked back for a moment before quickly making his way over to the pile, grabbing the burdock and darting back over to the sick cat, Falcon's eyes just resting on him the whole time. He chewed the Burdock into a pulp and placed in on the infected wound, giving him poppy seeds as it wailed out in pain.
He shook Falcons gaze to tell Ember that the cat would need regular doses of burdock in pulp form on the wound till it clear more and then some marigold and goldenrod and he should be fine then the gaze took hold again.
Finally he had had enough of the gaze and he got to his paws and let out a hiss. "Why are you looking at me like that! Yes I'm not from Rushclan but you don't need to make it so clear you want me gone just by looking!" He hissed
Emberpaw had watched with a shocked yet eased look and Falconeyes finally seemed to blink and meow something. "Where did you learn that?"
"What!?" Graypaw meowed still upset and more confused with the change of subject. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about the herbs and the cure." Falcon eyes meowed as if he had never set a gaze to the apprentice.
"I don't know, I just use to hang around the median cats den back at home, that's all." Graypaw confessed. "It made me feel-"
"Wise" Falconeyes had meowed the last part with him, and set another gaze to him filled with a small respect for him and then nodded, lieing down and giving a yawn seeing all the sick asleep. His head fell and his eyes closed as he rested.
Graypaw hesitated before doing the same and his world of water soon faded into darkness.
"Your a mouse brain you know that!" Spat Mousenose.
"I-im sorry Mousenose! I-I didn't mean to!" Silverpaw meowed, insisting even though he did nothing. He lied to save his leaders tail.
